2. Overview

This website sets no cookies and uses no tracking, no analytics and no social media plugins. Fonts are loaded from our own server; there is no connection to Google Fonts or other font providers. The calculators on this website run entirely in your browser; your entries are not transmitted to us.

3. Hosting and server log files

The website is hosted on our own server at Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. When you visit it, the server automatically processes your IP address, date and time, the page requested, the referrer URL, browser and operating system. The purpose is to deliver the website and to keep it stable and secure. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is the secure operation of the website. Log files are deleted after 14 days. We have a data processing agreement with the host under Art. 28 GDPR.

4. Contact by email and inquiry form

When you write to us, we process your details (name, email address, company, content of your message) to handle your inquiry. Via the inquiry form you additionally send us your country, optionally your phone or WhatsApp number and website, and information on your products, your brand and your plans. The form is processed on our web server and forwarded to us by email; the details are not stored on the website itself. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your inquiry aims at a contract, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is communicating with contact persons of businesses. We process emails on our own mail server, which is also operated at Hetzner Online GmbH (see section 3).

5. Online appointment booking via Cal.com

The “Termin buchen” (book an appointment) button takes you to an external booking page. Data is only transmitted once you click it; no booking service is loaded on this website itself.

The booking page is provided by Cal.com, Inc., 2261 Market Street #4382, San Francisco, CA 94114, USA. It processes your name, company, business email address, phone number, the selected appointment, any details you provide voluntarily, and technical data such as IP address and time stamp. You receive a code by email to confirm your email address. The purpose is to arrange, prepare and hold the meeting, including confirmation and reminder. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, and for contact persons of businesses Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (interest in efficient scheduling).

Cal.com processes the data on our behalf under a data processing agreement. The data is processed in the USA. The transfer is based on standard contractual clauses under Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR. Confirmed appointments are transferred via CalDAV to the calendar on our own mail server, which is operated at Hetzner Online GmbH (see section 3). We hold the meeting by phone.

6. External links

This website links to packero.de. Data is only transmitted when you click the link; the privacy policy of the linked provider then applies.

7. Storage period

We delete inquiries and bookings that do not lead to a business relationship 6 months after the last contact. If a business relationship follows, or where business letters are concerned, we keep them for the statutory periods (§ 257 German Commercial Code, § 147 German Fiscal Code, usually 6 years).

8. Recipients

Your data is only received by the service providers named above (hosting and email at Hetzner, appointment booking at Cal.com) as processors. It is not passed on to any other third parties or sold.

9. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20 GDPR). A message to info@magita.de is sufficient.

You may lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for us is Der Hessische Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit, Gustav-Stresemann-Ring 1, 65189 Wiesbaden, Germany, https://datenschutz.hessen.de.

10. Obligation to provide data, automated decisions

You are not obliged to provide us with data. Without contact details, however, we cannot arrange an appointment or answer an inquiry. No automated decision-making, including profiling, takes place.
